Summer 2015

Summer Time and the livin’ is easy. Mix of hot and rainy days, and crazy thunderstorms. The mosquitoes are getting a nice infusion, not a bad bug year overall though. Eagle Eye Tara spotted the oxymoronic and rare “Common Five Lined Skink”, no pictures though. But it did happen.

Double Rainbow

Peak bug season, but it was worth it for the double rainbow. You can’t actually see the second rainbow in this shot, but I assure you it was cool. And with the reflection in the water, isn’t that like a quadruple rainbow?

The beaver did another drive by while I was on the dock. He waited till I tried to fill up a water jug before splashing me two feet off the dock and scaring the crap outta me… again… he is a cheeky chap…

Other sightings: Pheasants, Turkeys, Deer, Turtles and Chipmunks (everywhere, bumper year for them…)
